If you received a tax notice from a taxing authority
Here's what to do.
First, Don't Panic
The IRS and state tax authorities mostly send automated notices to clients. We have helped many clients with these situations and we will work with you until the situation is resolved. We often have several weeks or a month to respond. We will review the notice and, working with you, we will determine the best response.
Next, Send us a copy
We cannot help you unless we have a copy of the notice. Please select your option for delivery: Email, mail, upload to our Tax Portal or drop off the notice. Please note we are not accepting new clients, if we did not prepare the return, we are not able to assist you.
What if my return is audited?
Receiving a letter from a tax agency can feel overwhelming, but we’re here to help. Simply upload a complete copy of the notice through our Tax Portal link at the bottom of this page, and we’ll review it with you to create a clear plan of action.
